Having completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Kocaeli, Dr. Fındık graduated from Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine in 1993. After practicing medicine and military service, he became a specialist in Maltepe University, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery in 2007. During this time, he worked as an observer for 3 months in St. Vincent Hospital Hospital (Oregon).

Having specialized in Kartal Koşuyolu Training and Research Hospital for about 3 years, Dr. Orhan Fındık started to work in Kocaeli Derince Training and Research Hospital in 2010. He was part of the team that performed the first open heart surgery. He became the first physician to perform endovenous laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation and SEPS in patients with varicose veins in Kocaeli. He was among the first cardiovascular surgeons to apply this procedure in our country by applying balloon and stent procedures in peripheral vessels at the "Percutaneous Interventions in Peripheral Arterial Occlusions Course" held in Kocaeli in 2015 with the contribution of Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery.

In 2016, at the International Congress of Innovations in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery, he received the 1st prize in the "Best Oral Presentation" with his work. He also contributed scientifically as a speaker at congresses and regional meetings organized by the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery and the National Vascular and Endovascular Society.

Associate Professor in 2018, Dr. Orhan Fındık has around 40 international and national publications, and around 70 national and international oral and poster presentations.

Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, National Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Along with the National Phlebology Association, he is a member of Kocaeli Higher Education Association, İzmit Tennis Club and Kocaeli Sailing Club.
